They have new, state-of-the art equipment and specialists on staff. The office is super clean and had a good peaceful environment in the waiting area. The two root canals were performed the same day on my mom and the following day they put the two crowns on. During a little less than 48 hours in Tijuana, we can say that we now have a great dentist to come back to and recommend for anyone that has any need for quality and reasonably priced dental work.

I have seen three dentists over a period of several months for extensive work including root canals, implants, fillings and crowns. I’m 68 years old and I can honestly say, they are the best dentists I have ever seen during my lifetime.

It’s one of the rare occasions in life where superior quality comes with lower cost! I would even say they are much better dentists than any I have seen in my hometown.

They are a group of young, passionate, highly skilled dentists that work as a team – unlike the typical solo dentists I have experienced in the U.S. And their staff is extremely supportive, helping set up visits and very responsive to follow up questions. And their English is excellent.

I highly recommend them to anyone seeking excellent affordable dental care! I am looking forward to returning to complete the work.

The best thing about this place is the PRICE! it’s very affordable. Magola who works in the business office made sure I had transpiration to all my appointments which is HUGE in Cancun. Transportation services are super expensive for tourist. She even arranged my transportation for my departing flight at 5am. She had the driver pick me up from a bar at 2am.

Overall my experience was wonderful and I’ll be taking my son to get his work done next!

LOVE this office and staff! If you would have told me I could find this level of high quality in Mexico, I wouldn’t have believed you. It’s crazy how close their office is to the boarder and how easy it was to get there. From the inside of the clinic, I felt like I was in the U.S. Brand new equipment.

They even have a CT scan! And for less than $60, I had one done of my head. This would have costs me at least $550 in the States and that’s if I paid cash.

I don’t speak Spanish so I was worried at first about a language barrier but all staff speaks English and made me feel so comfortable.

Dr. Paola is AMAZING!! I get anxiety with going to the dentist and he was super patient and explained everything to me, every step of the way.

I needed dental work badly and got a quote from several U.S. dentists in Maryland, the total cost of the procedures was $6,200-6,500, way too high!

I went in for an examination and got an appraisal for the exact work that I would have had done in Maryland, the total cost of all procedures was only $2,800. I saved a bundle and was completely satisfied, going back for more work in several weeks and saving even more.

OMG! Dr. Paola saves the day and my wallet! I had FOUR US dentists tell me that my implant was failing and I needed a bone graft and new implant. I received a quote from Dr. Paola that was about $3500 less than the US dentists wanted. Dr. Paola prepped me as if we were going to have surgery, but after removing the crown he determined the implant was solid and didn’t need to come out. I did not need to have surgery! Now imagine if I had been at on one of the aforementioned 4 US Dentists? How much do you want to bet they would have performed unnecessary surgery? I am sold and you should be too – Dr. Paola is HONEST!

Don’t waste your time with dentists in the U.S. – cross the border – it is SO worth it.

Update – Dr. Paola saves the day AGAIN. I was back in the office for finishing the cavity inlay procedure. While we were waiting on the material – I asked if I needed a deep cleaning like the US dentist told me. He checked and said No. Too much deep cleaning leads to bone loss. Some dentists are upselling unneeded procedures! Troubling…

I always have a great experience here. It’s probably my 3rd visit and it’s my husband’s 4th. I usually come to have cleaning and work done. First, they are very nice and professional. Second, the clinic it’s very clean and organized. Highly recommend specifically because their pricing/quotes are affordable and reasonable. They speak English which is very helpful.

Plus, they have a great 3D X-ray machine and very competent dentists.

I wish I could give Dr. Paola 10 stars! I love this dentist! I’m having complete implants done on the upper and lower. The price was about 1/3 of what they wanted in the US. And more importantly Dr. Paola office makes you feel like family. I will use and or refer this dentist to anyone I know. So happy to have found them.

I was referred to Hebedoc by a family member and decided to make the drive to San Diego and walked across the boarder to Tijuana. I took a $5 cab ride to their office, not far from Costco, about 10 min in traffic.

The staff is very friendly and always helpful. Dr. Paola explains what needs to be done and does great work. Think I found new dentist for my needs.

Went to Mexico after not going to a dentist for several years and following very high estimates I was getting from dentists in the U.S. The team were amazing! They gave me a great service and fix my smile with very natural looking material (zirconium) and boost my confidence to a much higher level.

I came because of the positive reviews I read on Hebedoc. I had toothache, and came in on a Saturday. All staff was very friendly, and very professional. Dr. Paola make this visit very comfortable, even the anesthesia was administered painlessly. He was very attentive, and his service was exceptional! He worked methodically and explained what he was doing beforehand. Inside is very clean, new, all staff made me feel comfortable.

Dental work pricing in the US is absurdly high. We could not have done it without Hebedoc. Although the prices are low in Mexico, the quality of work that was performed was top notch. We didn’t have to worry about anything.

Hebedoc answered all of our questions and arranged everything. The idea of trying to find a highly skilled dentist on our own, we simple didn’t need to take that risk.

My husband, who does not like going to the Dentist, found this place to be more than acceptable. We are both VERY picky when it comes to our dental work, and we will be going back.

I have a favorite dentist in the U.S. and would have happily gone to him for the crowns I needed but it was just beyond my budget. I kept postponing it due to costs.

From my trip to Mexico, I got two crowns and a deep cleaning with a bunch of x-rays and a work plan to fix other things in the future – all for less than the cost of one crown in LA.

Dr. Paola and his assistant did INCREDIBLE work. Zero pain – the crowns are seamlessly perfect, look and feel great – and it was all done in 24 hours for a small extra fee.

Special thanks to the patient coordinator. I forgot my phone and she went out of her way to get it back to me. Excellent clinic. You cannot go wrong.

Since my last review, I’ve returned multiple times for dental work – but also brought both my daughters to have all wisdom teeth removed. Again, the care was outstanding – and in one daughter’s case, her work insurance covered all costs.

For the other who does not have dental insurance she saved over 75% from the best cost quoted in LA – so well worth the trip!

We each got our own Dr. who stayed with us to complete each procedure needed. My husband had a couple teeth they needed pulling and then implants, 4 crowns and more. Come down to Mexico for any substantial work. I’ve saved at least $24,000.

The communication was fantastic and thorough. HebeDoc set us up with a couple of choices, all were highly qualified— top notch. They gave us an idea of what it would cost for the procedures the American dentist said we needed. We were very impressed with the office and the staff.

Greetings. I accompanied a friend to Mexico during our family’s vacation and was impressed by the facilities, the attention to detail, and their professionalism.

I’ve got to say…medical tourism is a cost-effective means to get the care you need, without feeling like you’ve been asked to put up a down payment for a mortgage. My friend had to get two root canals, two fillings, and replace a crown and the quote was under $2,500, whereas his dentist quoted him over $8K back home.

So, I decided to get a check-up, which included a panoramic x-ray, and I got a filling replaced ($70USD) and a cleaning ($35USD). I’m glad I was able to replace something small like a filling for a much lower price than what my local dentist would have charged me.

I’m extremely satisfied and prior to deciding to replace my filling was able to consult with an endodontist and maxillofacial surgeon about my x-rays, over other questions I had. It was like one-stop shopping with the latest equipment. I would normally have to wait weeks to speak to two separate specialists here in NYC, not to mention the co-pays I’d have to pay if they accepted my insurance.

Another bonus feature is they have a lot of equipment on-site, so you don’t have to wait forever after you take impressions.

All in all, I had a great experience, saved a ton of money, and may return in December for their laser whitening services, which are a bargain compared to what my dentist is charging ($250 versus $800 in NYC).

I also want to thank Andy at Hebedoc who was extremely thorough in explaining the pricing to my friend and helped fit me in with a dentist.

I came down for a $30 cleaning and to see about more advanced dental work I needed. They gave me an x-ray so they could see the rest of my teeth and what other potential problems I may have. I’m glad they did the x-ray and informed me of potential problems and health risks.

I was given a copy of the work that may need to be done, with prices included. They informed me that I could address my issues at my pace.

I’ve been experiencing sensitivity issues. They addressed my sensitivity and resolve it that same visit. I wasn’t expecting this and am greatly relieved. I figured I would need another appointment. I was wrong, they took the extra time and care to meet my satisfaction.

Strong communication throughout, explaining what’s going to occur. It’s my first time traveling down to Mexico and it was all very reassuring.

I will be coming little by little to minimize my dental work. Great job team!

The dentist is typically the last place I want to frequent, unless absolutely necessary. The way they treated my mother was wonderful especially since she came from so far away and was obviously nervous about what to expect. The doctors made her experience a pleasant one. Although root canals are not fun, she was very happy and at ease under their care. Their staff was very nice.

Had a great experience. Went in to have 3rd molars extracted. Had them both out in about 10 minutes! I felt very comfortable there. The price was great (compared to U.S. costs!). They were very professional. I’ll be back soon for the other side.

I was told by the dentist in California that I needed a root canal and crown on my back molar that had cracked. Dr. Paola said I only needed an inlay, $300. No root canal needed.

The office has state-of-the art imaging and they have really taken good care of us. We felt heard by them and my doctor was super caring and gentle. I never felt any pain and he was very sensitive to notice and ask how I was doing at all times. Both of us really like our doctors. As far as coming down to Tijuana, the office is in a very safe area.

Since we live 8 hours away, we have found that staying at the Grand Hotel Tijuana works great, and it’s a nice place.

It’s a crap shoot to find a new dentist. Cleanings cost $110 and x-rays are extra, lets just say it no small investment. Well, I turned up aces when I found Dr. Paola!! What a great, personable and caring dentist. His staff is amazingly cool!

Mind you…I went in for an endoscopic procedure in the U.S. and they broke my front veneer when removing the dang scope!!! I had to find a dentist pronto!!

My smile is everything to me so you can imagine my panic not knowing if I was going into a dentist who agreed to see me on an emergency basis and coming out looking like Mr. Ed (the talking horse). I had one week to get it all fixed because I was traveling out of state for work! He and his staff moved mountains to get my tooth fixed and it looked great. If I could give 10 stars I would! I was very scared to travel to Mexico from Northern California since I didn’t know any reputable dentist . I thank god that I stumbled across Dr. Marcos Valenzuela. He isn’t just a dentist .. he is an artist!!!! I got a full mouth restoration . I got 8 crowns and a full set of veneers and wisdom teeth removed . and I could not be more happy with my smile!!!! He left me with a true Hollywood smile! He was very detail oriented. He made sure everything looked perfect and he made sure my bite was correct. The whole staff was wonderful. They truly make you feel like home . I have always been terrified of the dentist and he made me super comfortable. It was truly a pain free process thanks to him. You receive individual cate and personal treatment at Smile Makers. As far as professionalism all their staff provides the highest level of service. There are over 600 Dentist in Algadones but what separates Dr. Paola & Dr Marquez is their standard of excellence. There are several “good “ dentist but the wealth of knowledge, their fine detail to attention. , and the rest assured comfort every step of the process Dr Claudia who performed my extensive root canals was also meticulous with such sensitivity. It is well worth the slightly higher cost for the confidence of results you will find impressive once this process is complete. Also the follow up and concern post visit is yet again showing their level of standard.
